CANTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police in Washington County are involved in a standoff.
The suspect is believed to be John Edward Gallo, a man accused of beating up his girlfriend before trying to kidnap her.
The woman jumped out of his moving vehicle along Interstate 70 and was helped by a passerby.
Gallo drove off, but reportedly, the police have him cornered.
