SHADYSIDE (KDKA) – Police are investigating two Wednesday morning home invasions in Shadyside.
According to police, both incidents happened inside the same apartment complex in the 6100-block of Walnut Street around 4 a.m.
Police believe four to six armed assailants broke in and started making demands.
There were four young men living upstairs and one is believed to have been roughed up by the suspects.
A married couple downstairs was allegedly held at gun point as well.
The thieves took off with cash, small electronics, cell phones and jewelry, including the young woman's wedding ring.
The couple had just gotten married and was expecting to go on their honeymoon this weekend.
