HOMEWOOD (KDKA) – Police are investigating after one person was killed and two others were injured in Homewood Sunday night.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 7100-block of Monticello Street around 10:40 p.m.
Two cars were stopped at a stop sign when shots rang out.
One of the vehicles rolled forward a short distance before crashing into several vehicles. A man inside the car was taken to a local hospital and was last listed in critical condition.
The other vehicle continued to the 7300-block of Monticello Street before also crashing into several vehicles.
A 31-year-old woman inside the vehicle died as a result of gunshot wounds, while a 34-year-old man was shot in the leg.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to contact Pittsburgh Police.
